Default Stupid French court

French court orders newspapers to fake images from F1 races. Unbelivable.

A court in Paris has fined newspapers Le Point, Le Monde and Les Echos $1000 apiece for failure to observe the advertising rules which insist that photographs of Formula 1 cars must have all tobacco sponsorship air-brushed out of the picture.

What's next: VW pays newspaper to photoshop their logos on BMW F1 car?

That's pretty dumb. The whole thing is dumb. Does removing a few tobacco ads from cars really make a difference?
