Default Dec 7th: Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 In Depth

Another indepth, one of my favourite ones and one of the biggest catches! Third Lambo to appear in my indepths, and actually the owner is the same as the blue Gallardo
We knew eachother for quite a while now, but he always is damn busy, so it took an awfull long time to make an indepth on my favourite car out of his collection
The occasion presented last month when he bought a new camera and decided to test it in the backyard of a nice castle nearby Luckily I had some spare time! So I enjoyed a ride in my first 6.0 Diablo and managed to take some nice pics of a superb car. Despite the Affolter wing, it is ice!

The car is remapped I think and has some crazy exhaust which keeps trying to rape your ears and brain! It's VERY loud and it pulls VERY strong! We just had like 10 minutes of road to reach the castle, and on the short straightaway, while passing slow traffic I saw some 180 kmh which arrived incredibly quickly!

it's really a nice car the Diablo, even the 6.0 still carries sort of a vintage aura I just , but is still more polished that te 2WD Diablo I experienced in 2004.

Amazing car anyway, great performance up to today's standard and a bomb visually!

Enjoy, and be sure to click the preview to find 41 high-res

Very nice shots, castles/mansions make great spots for Italian supercar photos

very nice, thanks a lot TT. The place you choose to shoot this car fits perfectly...the diablo is a monument!!

Try to bring this friend to the next "asphalte" meeting, would be cool

Your photosessions just keep getting better and better. Firstly the caliber of cars is going up, you started off with regular Evo's and Elise's but in the past few weeks you got the chance to capture on your memorystick 2 Lambos and a Ferrari. The scenery by which the Diablo is surrounded is also breathtaking, it seems there are many ideal places in Switzerland for taking photos.

THX for the brilliant pictures of my favourite Lambo ever.

Well done!!

Definately a stunning car, probably my favourite Diablo (close call with the GT). I can only imagine what it must've sounded like, considering the one I was in had a standard exhaust.

THe pics are stunning too, a beautiful location that suits the colour of the car perfectly. :good:

OMG, what a nice shooting !
Well done TT, the castle gives the perfect background for a car like this

I like the rims (usually the Affolter ones are horrible).

Uhm, to be honest I don't even remember the model, it was one of the compact ones and I really am not into compact cameras, so I can't even recall the manufacturer  it was black LOL and no, I don't have his pics, he took like 200 or 300 LOL

Thank you! Only complaint I have about these pics is that the sun was placed in a pretty annoying way, casting a diagonal shadow right where it would have been perfect to put the car, and made some angles impossible to obtain, but still, a castle and a supercar is one of the best combos possible, so I don't really complain
I tried already to take him to the first asphalte meeting, but he works 365 days / year, from early morning to late evening, so it's very hard to drag him away, he just attend the main Lambo events around the area when he can :bah:

Finally the whole set, that cold and clear weather wasn't that bad finally, especially when there's no other car around and you can choose the location

That one is brilliant IMO :good:
