Default One of my many peeves

okay.. now in Australia and i can assume many other places as well, many female motorists will buy a small car usually a hatch back so that they are able park it, which they would otherwise be unable/struggle to do with a larger vehicle.
Now ive had a bit of a vendeta against these types of motorists ever since some blonde bitch parked ABSOLUTELY horribly ie took up 2 spaces, i however had just stepped out of my car and then said that she should try and repark to which she spouted excuses and abuse (TYPICAL), all i said is that if its too hard let me do it for you (nothing offensive) but still taken in a negative way.

you see at uni parking is a big deal for most, because you dont want to pay for parking because your skint, and you sure as shit dont want a $50-100 fine :x
(Australia: home of the fine and land of the fee)

basicly theres a free 4 hour parking area at my uni which is usually filled up by 8am (get in quick!), its on gravel up near a football field and there is a fence which has posts about 7-8ft wide, ie a car can fit between them quite easily ,(ive seen landrovers and jeeps do it so you kind of get the picture), and still have door swing space to get in and out.
however if someone parks crooked or just plain poorly it carries on down the line, the net effect is you loose more spaces.
and EVERY time i see a small hatchback ie a hyundai or daewoo, thats taking up more space than a BMW X5 parked side ways
now seriously if you cant fucking park the thing dont drive it period
i for one pride my self with parking skills, just today i parallel parked having each tyre no more than 2 inch from the curbe (and ofcourse parallel with the curbe itself)
now am i the only one that notices this trend, i regularly see big 4x4 drivers make sure that they park correctly as they are under more critisism for having a larger car.. but people with smaller cars dont seem to care at all, either that or they have no clue as to the dimensions of their own car :x
anyways im bringing my digicam to uni tomorrow (going to see some exotic species for Zoology) but if i have space for a few more pics ill grab some of a couple of clowns who cant park just to show you exactly what i mean....
and yes this is rather pedantic but its been pissing me off for months and if there is a place to vent it its here with like-minded individuals

you Brits are always complaining.

If the chick who can't park is hot then all is forgiven, otherwise I can understand your frustration. How about putting a note on their car....so they are aware of what their doing wrong.

At least you get 4hrs of free parking, we have to pay $50/semester and then fight for a spot with the other 20,000 students. :x

dude, shut up about the parking cost. Here universitys charge anywhere between 100 and 400 per semester. Hell, UC Davis charges 350 per QUARTER.

But about the bitch that can't park her hatch, i agree. That's why a carry around a hydraulic floor jack in my van just jack up the rear axle and swing it whichever direction it needs to go to set her straight Either that or a little business card size peice of paper that asks them to leave a can opener on your windshield next time so you can carve your way out

we can't even park at derby uni, unless your disabled or commute from quite some distance ( and not even always allowed one then) Only time we can is after like 4pm so thats like maybe a couple of lectures a week

Betcha motorcycles are exempt though

I am not sure which Uni it was, but this was also the case at another Uni in the UK a friend of mine attended - it may have been Manchester.

We didn't have such stupid rules at Plymouth.

Of course it being in the deepest darkest southwest corner of the country it was near mandatory to arrive to lectures on your Massey, Deere or New Hollland while chewing straw*

*may not be true.
