Sounds really nice race but if the civic is not heavily modified it doesn't
stand a chance against the bike,d/l right now!
Thanks mopsdrops

Thats a fast civic, but that biker needs to learn to tuck and not use his clutch when racing, probably why he's on a 600. thanks mopsdrops

Thats a pretty quick civic, but once up to high speeds 600's lose their steam a bit. Not the fastest civic, but still rapid!
I remember seeing a video of an E39 M5 keeping up with a GSX-R 600 some time ago.

That is a very fast Civic, the stock GSXR-600 does the 1/4 mile in 10.2 secs at over 124 mph.
Any car that can keep up with that bike must be very fast. I own one and have "killed" a few cars off the line , last one being a M3... not much of a chalenge.....to be honest, he tried.

Mind you, this is with an exceptional rider. The average joe will not come close to that time.

Hmm. The video doesn't sit right with me. The race is meant to be from 60 to 150, right? Now, the race starts at 9 seconds and ends on 19 seconds of the video, meaning that the Civic went from 60 to 150 in 10 seconds. Now, a Murcielago would take 14 seconds, yet there is nothing about the outside scenery that suggests to me that they are accelerating this fast. Anyone else feel the same?

i think they could have hit 150mph....his speedo reads 120mph and he is well off the clock when they look at it,turbo civics just seem to be very quick once they are moving,i think this vid is genuine and it aint the first time i seen a civic accelerate that quick
