Default Italian Car Day (Lambo's, Ferrari's, Alfa's, Maserati's...)

Unfortunately the turnout wasn't as good as expected, with only about 20 Ferrari's and 5 Lambo's....there was suppose to be a 550 Barchetta which I was really looking forward to seeing. Its a shame since there are other Ferrari's I have seen on the street (550, 575 HGTC....etc) which would have enhanced the show
To make it worse the conditions were crap for taking pics (LOTS of sun and people) but I tried my best and here are the ones I found acceptable

A couple of Alfa Romeo's, there were tons there but I didn't take pics of many since I am not that big a fan of them

Diablo VT and 25th Anniversary Countach, owned by the same guy (and his wife has a F348 Spider)

the Countach, sounded awesome when he started it

Diablo

Gallardo

and the star of the show (IMO), one of only 5 RHD 40th Anniversary Murcielago's in the world and the lone one in Australia I have seen it once before at a Ferrari meeting but it still blew me away this time

Urraco, the first one I have seen in person

Maserati Bi-Turbo 425i:

a couple of Ghibli's:

Maserati Sebring

and an awesome looking/sounding Shamal

308 GTS....there were a bunch of 308/328's but since they all looked the same I didn't take pics of them

348 Spider

1995 F355 Berlinetta - just beautiful

F360 Modena - the one which I'm sure you all know by now

and the Spider

365 GT4

Fiat/Abarth racecar of some sort - has a RX-7 rotary engine in it

it just looks that way, if you saw all the pics I had to delete because of people walking through/into my shots it would be different

Wow. Maybe not every one expected turned up, but this still is an impressive collection of Italians!! The 40th Anniversary Murcié defenitely is the star of the show. I also really like the f355 (who wouldn't? ), the Ghibili's and the Shamal. Judging from the pics, there was idd a lot of sunshine. But most of the pics are still really great. This one is my favourite:

thanks Wutputt - and yes I was very happy with how that pic turned out I actually showed a few to a Gallardo owner on another board and he was impressed and said if I ever come to town he would let me do a 'photoshoot' of his car

You defenitely have to do that!!! Must be awesome to be able to shoot pics of a car in all peace without people walking in front of the camera, and without artificial light like in dealerships. I'll predict those pics will be amazing!

A lot of saliva has been spilt around the world this weekend... Wow!! (third thread in a row)

Obviously I love every single car, but the ones that struck me as the most amazing were the 40th Anniversary Murciélago, the Uracco and of course the Shamal! That Maserati is such a cool car. And you're 100% right about the sound, dingo. I remember that very well!
