Default Reinforced rubber fuel line

Does anyone know if -06 connectors, used on braided steel fuel hose, can be used with reinforced rubber fuel hose? I'm trying to overcome some very silly rules for the Formula Student competition, can anyone help?

Well the ones that are designed for braided steel hose can't specifically be used with rubber hose, but you can buy connectores that are very similar to "dash-style" fittings, but for rubber hose.

We're going to be using braided steel hose instead though, managed to figure out the rules properly! I'll be posting more pics of our formula student as it gets more built up, and then of course some pics and vids when it's running!
