Default Nokia 6600 Problems

Right, ive had a nokia 6600 for a few months now, the vibrate packed up, so i got a replacement on insurance. Now this one comes up with:

Select access point:
G Connection
D Orange
G Orange GPRS
G Orange Internet
G Orange MMS

Whatever i select this message continuously comes up every fuckin minute!!!!! Ive rung customer services, and the bloke (as usuall) was about as usefull as a chocolate teapot. He said that when he searched for it, it said that it is a software fault, that is not serious enough to recall the phone, and nokia does not have a cure for it.
However a few other people i have talked to said that they cured similar faults with a software update.
Now i have searched high and low for this 'software update' and i cant find shit that looks like a current update.

Was just wondering if anyone by any chance has had any similar problems and could give me a point in the right direction for a cure.

Cheers,

i've had my 6600 since last november and haven't had any problems with it. there must be something wrong with your gprs settings.

doesn't all Nokia phones have one year warranty?

you might try turning off GPRS and use WAP

go to a nokia service cntr, tell them what had happend, add stuff like the phone was crashing ect. then they will update the firmware on the phone, and it will fix it for you.

or atleast should - good luck.
