do you do any sports? As Vancouver is the best city in Canada for any sports (sailing, golf, skiing, whatever) Plus Vancouver has some of the best restaurants anywhere in North America, only Montreal, NYC, and San Franciso are better. You can go over to Vancouver Island and explore it, just look up on the net about Vancouver and you will find there is a ton of stuff to do. If you are only looking at a city based on its cars then I feel sorry for you, as there is alot more to life than just cars. Vancouver is not dull at all, you just have to know where to go. Good luck with your trip.

vancouver has very nice-good and cheap food..
all u can eat sushi starts at 9 bucks.. and they have fresh stuff
chinese food is dirt cheap if u know what u want..
downtown, robson area.. is the tourist area and yup, ppl like to drive and show off there expensive cars there.. and shopping galore there.
as for luxury cars in general, richmond is where u will see the expensive cars.. 9/10 you see will be an import.. (jap, europen), the 1/10 will probably be delivry trucks or something commercial.. as for modified cars, most of them linger in vancouver.. there are strict rules and by-laws on modified cars in richmond..
if u drive 30 mins towards twassanwn, there u can catch the ferry to victoria, the capital. cost is like 30 bucks a car and 10 bucks a person.. victoria is the #1 tourist city in canada. but if u dont like scenery, dont go there.

I LOVE Vancouver. I visited my fraternity brothers at UBC over spring break and was deeply impressed by the city and the people. We actually got in a bar fight at au bar downtown and our UBC brothers had our backs. speaking of which, some of the bars are pretty nice . Also, if you're into that kind of thing, weed is pretty easy and cheap to come by, and more or less socially acceptable.

Do you mean the Experience Music Project? Its kind of dissappointing, especially since you have to pay $20 to get in. They don't really have that much there, and the "interactive" exhibits are a joke.
