Default OMG A Carrera GT Turbo!!!

For those who need more power in the Carrera GT, Porsche soon offers a Carrera GT Turbo in a limited 100 cars edition.
Production starts 4/1/2005, first customer cars to be delivered around 6/2005.
Specs: V10 engine with 741 HP, sequential shifting system (called PASM-Z), one turbo charger K30, 355/20-19 rear tires, digital speedo instead of analogue one, rims with the spokes in the shape of the Porsche crest, platinum plated keys with a golden Porsche crest and a diamond in the middle, no A/C, no Radio/Nav system and around 60 kg less weight compared to the current Carrera GT.
This car will only be street legal in Germany but it can be ordered by customers worldwide for track use.
Only one colour available, a new color called turbo pale orange.
Price tag (same price worldwide): 941000 Euro excl. tax.
Cars will be produced on a come first, serve first basis, first 43 cars are already sold.

Yeah, being rear-engined, a V-10 with 741hp may be a little hard to squeeze into one, but maybe not. we'll see.

It's mid engined not rear mounted, but yes 600 in my mind would be enough..however that would blow pretty much anything that ever had a chance out of the water (in the hands of the correct driver). I also would like to hear what st-anger has to say about this...I'm surprised he has not said anything unless he was not able to inform us.

I really dont like this move. It looks like Porsche is just trying to make more money. Leave it as is. By doing this I think they are killing the special unique image of the CGT.

It's like Ferrari offering the Enzo with a Turbo with 900bhp.....wtf

by doing this they are killing the CGTs image...like they got something else to prove. I saw this coming from a Tuner but not Porsche....
