Sound slike he wants to change the regional lockout on his DVD drive. Unfortunately, I haven't a clue as to how to do it. I suppose it's only a matter of time till someone comes into the thread and helps him out.

there is two types of region lock. One locked from Windows and one locked from Hardware (drive itself).
IF it is only software locked, then you can change the region using software such as DVDidle. download from www.dvdidle.com.
The tough problem is if your DVD drive is hardware locked. Meaning the you will need to change the firmware of your drive. There is some software that can tell you if the drive is hardware locked. I did a succsful firmware change for my CREATIVE DVD and its perfect now
Try DVDidle, and if you still cannot change the region, then tell me the model name of your DVD drive and i will try to get more information to help you.

If I remember correctly, AnyDVD allow you to override the RPC-2 lock. So even if ur drive is done changing region 5 times...it will still be okay.
