Porsche Warranty= BullShit!!
One of the guys in that forum will not get his brakes replaced under warranty because Porsche's warranty is "valid only if driven within the speed limit" how stupid is that!! basically what Porsche is sayin is that if u fuck up ur porsche from track drivin ur fucked. and I thought porsches were made to drive on track

LMAO, almost every brand refuses to comply to warranty if you drive your car to the limit (trackdays...)

I think Ferrari's warranty also includes track days. They did pay for Jabba's wheel when it broke during that turn.

They better pay for that. If this were America, Jabba would be rich because of that accident. So no changes there really...

You are 100 % correct draak... they were very "keen" to take the broken part away from me and replace BOTH hubs free of charge especially strange when the warranty had expired over two years prior to the accident....they also wanted to examine my video footage of the wheel breaking off...but I decided it would be best to keep that

I think I should have asked for an F50 in exchange for all the tapes...I mean that would still be cheaper than recalling all the 355's and replacing the defective front hubs....

thats kinda of weird, but perhaps it has something to do w/ porsche wanting to look like a 'responsible' manufacturer? kind a like how bmw'll make u sign a special contract if u get teh semi-slicks on teh csl?
on a side note u can buy track day insurace can't you?( i'm not saying that u should ahve to, but jsut incase) or, u can do what richard hammond was talking about if u were to have an accident. just push it of the track onto a public road! hahaha....oops! look what happened when i was driving under the speed limit on this public road!!
btw jabba, were the hubs deemed defective or was it just on your car?
