I was waiting for someone to pull off a nice 10-second pass with a ZR-1. Afterall, it was done with a Z06 as well, and this car makes much more power. I still can't get over the sound these cars make though. Has to be one of my favourite engine noises of all time, it's just so mean.

It's incredibly difficult to launch the ZR1 for a smoking 60' time because of it's huge torque, and extra tall 1st gear ratio. If it were identical to the Z06's, the pro's could do even better... but the average user would have more trouble.

The tall 1st gear is one fo the greatest features/assets of the ZR1, that couple with the tall 19" rear wheels and comfortably low 6th gear make the car a true highspeed supercar, and any loss on the 0-60 is more than made up for at 150 and and beyond.
