Default Some advice for everyone else

Here's my tip of the week: Don't put your surge protector (6-strip) under your desk where you can kick it by accident.

The Reasoning?
Well, it caused me to spend a few days without my computer

Basically, I kicked the transformer from my speaker setup, which caused it to partially come out of the socket. Somehow this caused some crazy power surging and killed my motherboard.

Then you have to go on Newegg.com and order a replacement motherboard after going crazy for 2 days trying to find the problem and order a replacement motherboard, paying the extra $25 or so for next day shipping. Luckily the new motheboard will work and you'll be on JW again within 20 minutes.

Hope none of you have the same problem! Being without a computer in my room drove me crazy.

Tip of the day...

Be careful with the Mercedes CLS, their owners think it is a small coupe and they drive it ramming against others. (me... in this case)
