Favourite 'Tiff' road test? - & why...
Hi guys,
Just wondered what you all consider his best road test ever(5th/Top Gear)
(or if that makes it a bit hard, name your 'Top 3')
This is very hard - he's had so many great moments...
p.s
here's mine
1. McLaren F1 (Tiff's 1st drive from '93/'94)
2. BMW 540 -vs- Jaguar XJR -vs- Mercedes E55 -vs- BMW M5
3. Ford Focus (with Jeremy, Quentin & Vicki in-car)
Why did I pick these 3?...
1. Ultimate test of the ultimate car.
2. Had to have a test with lots of powersliding
3. I just love watching Jeremy, Quentin & Vicki's faces while Tiff throws this little car all around the airfield!!!

Favorite? The one where he drove the car sideways
Why? Cause he drove it sideways
They are all good. He makes a Citreon C2 look like a blast.

I only can to say that the first videos I downloaded of Top/5th Gear were of the cars I like now I only take videos where Tiff drives.
My particular Top 3:
- McLaren F1
- Audi RS4
- Pagani Zonda (with a little more sideways like the last in the left hairpin it would be perfect)
Fine examples of the inconfundible Tiff style. Nothing more to say, just watch them.

My fav it's the Enzo Ferrari test: Ennnnzo Ferrari...it's always in my mind.
Then the Mecca F1 test, in particular when it dropped it into second and floored the throttle..WOOOOW we better find a private circuit.

My three favourite tests are :
The Macca F1 test. Tiff absolutely rocked on this one. You could feel how excited and pumped he was, and through his commentary, the vidoe shots and THAT engine, you were definitely along for the ride too.
The Enzo TEst : Much the same as the above, minus a road segment. I found it funny the way he kept setting off the horn whenever he made anything more strenouos than a 60 degree turn of the steering wheel. "sorry, but i cannot drive a ferrari supercar with traction control". LoL.
The BMW M5 test from 98/99 : M5 sliding around in wet, doing slides and 360 degree spins. With Tiff driving. Nuff said.

My favorite Top gear "moment" (not really a test drive)
When Tiff took Clarkson, and Quentin out in the Puma, and showed how sideways that thing could get...
recently, the M3 CSL on the Isle of MAn or was it a different isle? (oh well what can u expect from a non knowing German)

In my opinion who has to say what´s tiff´s best impression about cars he´s tested is himself. In my opinion the best Top Gear is the "Top Gear - Back in the Fast Lane" wich sorts some of the best from TG and some highlights. Off course there aren´t the best videos in this vid, but the one i have here is a high quality version with good sound rate overall and with some TG vids i´ve never seen before.
There are others TG videos, but this one is cool. Try to get it on EMULE, kazza doesn´t share it. Trust me.

Has to be the mclaren F1, the ultimate road car.
just to see every expression on tiff's face when he is driving it is great.

I definitely have to agree, the McLaren F1 test is the best by far for me..then after that it would have to be the one where he drives Alain Prost's F1 Ferrari and Jeremy Clarkson drives the F50.

Ekhm...don't ya mean the Ford puma??
My favourite was on the last episode...when he was racing the 996 GT3 against a Gazelle chopper. Really epic stuff their from Tiff. And I also liked the 'Carpark getaway' episode.

1. Mclaren F1 cus it was his first big test and he ripped that car
2. Ferrari Enzo cus he ripped that car and
3. Ferrari 360 cus once again he ripped that car
Whenever someone puts an exotic car sideways or putting that car through its paces while having a smile on their face makes me want to be them at that moment.
Long live Tiff

The 911 Turbo test at Millbroke....at the ending he does the opposite lock around the older 911s and then in the end he's like "it may come along only once in every eight years but the 911 turbo is always worth waiting for" and then he peels out
