Default *** YET ANOTHER COSTLY MISTAKE ***

I posted the Ferrari 612 5th gear review on RF on my old server where I have an un-used bandwidth limit of 10 gig and extra bandwidth automatically being charged at 2p per MB.....amazingly it used over 16 GB in under 24 hours and the over limit bandwidth charges look like costing me £160 or around $256.799 US Dollars if my mathematics are correct. ....I doubt I will be making that mistake again.

This can also be used to answer the age old question of why the video vault has restricted access.

Maybe your should post the video a few weeks after the show is screened and tell everyone to see it on TV like I did ( putted my alarm on )

At the moment I am thinking of all the things that I could have got with that money instead.

Kinda pisses me off that I have just given £160 to a load of blood sucking leeches that were not happy enough to be getting the video for free but then decide to post the link on as many forums as possible to gain extra "brownie" points.

Sadly it's always like that.. to many people posting urls everywhere especially for new vids we can't really complain since many have no clue about bandwidth costs and so on...

The only solution is not to post urls

I'm sorry for you... such wastes are terrible

Its obvisouly set up as a sting as most servers cut off with a "bandwidth exceeded message" once your bandwidth is used up...these guys just carry on supplying it at 2p per MB.

Even so a 38 MB file using 17 GIG of transer bandwidth in 20 hours is insane...I would have thought their server would have blown up first.

yeh quite a sting I *think* I would get charged $1/Gb for transfer beyond the monthly quota, so those guys are sneaky bastards.. I hope karma comes round and smacks them upside the head for that

sorry to hear that, Jabba
I think it would be better if they can suspend your account first, then send you a message and ask if you want more monthly bandwidth transfer
Instead of paying that surcharge, will they still allow you to change the monthly plan (higher usage plan) now?
