Default Daytona Rolex 24hr 2009

Coolest part was feeling the energy in the pits while watching the last moments of the race.. Was a damn shame Montoya had no way of taking back the lead cleanly. He mentioned they raced clean and fair throughout the entire race and could not make a dirty move just to take the win.

So did that Riley Camaro do some demonstration/test laps (I know it didn't race) or was it just on display?

The Riley Camaro was just on display right outside the gift shop.. everyone was all over it. I think its best looking example of the new Camaro yet..

I was there too but was fighting a nasty flu virus so I could not stay long there
Here's a few pictures I snapped before I left.

Many pilots of the time were the opinion that a fighter pilot in a closed cockpit was an impossible thing, because you should smell the enemy. You could smell them because of the oil they were burning.
