Default Le Mans Series Nuerburgring 17 Aug (Pics)

So I haven't been around in a long long while but I figured I'd share this since it's been so long since my last visit.

Well I attended the LMES at the 'Ring on Sunday and was treated to an excellent session of 1000KM racing. It was great to see the big teams in every class dueling and really pressing each other. The 908's ran away from the R10's and the RS Spyders dominated in LMP2. I even managed to be in the right place at the right time to see the Essex Spyder fly off the track and get stuck in the gravel pit. Got up close with Herr Olaf Manthey and one of the heads of Porsche Motorsport but i didn't dare want to interrupt them for a pic. All in all a great event.

Some pics to start out and more to follow in the coming days, I'm already having a hard time choosing which to print to frame.

Wow, great pictures. I love seeing the differences between the various LeMans series. Did you get any good shots of GT1 cars?

Wow, some great shots in there, gutted I didn't have a decent photography equipment when I was at Le Mans this year.
