Any Mr2 Turbo owners?
Okay this is going to sound like a stupid question, but how tall is too tall to fit into an 2nd generation MR2? I'm looking into getting a turbo but the closest one that I can find in impeccable shape is up in Seattle (about 400 miles away) and I don't want to make the trip for nothing!

My buddy has one. I am 71.5 inches. I can fit barely. My head is like an inch from the top. It is more comfortable with the tops off. My sitting height is 37 inches. Distance from waist to top of head. So I would say if your sitting height is 38-39 you are ok. GL

The second generation MR2 did not have T-tops or a targa from what I remember. I think they only had sunroofs. So, if Caplax is talking about the MkII, I'm 6' and I don't remember having any problems fitting in one. Before you make the trip so far, find a local one for sale, and just go check it out to be sure.
Good luck.

the best versions to get is the 93-95 MR2 in north america.
93 has lots of mechanical changes, 94-95 has cosmetic changes.

No kidding? I have never seen a convertible. I know there was the full hardtop and the sunroof version. Now that I see the picture, I'm starting to think I've seen the t-top afterall, but I definately don't remember seeing any full convertibles...anyone got a picture? Did all those version reach the US? I know Canada gets different version cars sometimes.

Damn...that's pretty pimp. I wonder why it didn't get to the US? Was the speedster-style cover stock?

i am 6'4 and 173 lbs..........i seem to fit, but i like the feel of the car being wrapped around me. as long as i dont let my hair grow out to fro'ish again i dont have a prob. id really prefer a hardtop if i could have found one, it significantly increases the area above the head to sit. i admit im a tight fit, but the ability of the car moooorrrre than makes up for it.

I've never seen a unicorn, but I'm pretty confident in assuming they don't exist. Unless you've seen something or heard about it, what else are you going to do, but assume that it doesn't exist - until you're educated. It's always possible for something you've never seen, to exist. But that shouldn't keep you from having an opinion or making a comment, so long as you're open to being educated.
Given that the convertible never made it to the US in addition to the fact that only about 100 were ever made, I was pretty happy about learning something new.
