Default Between The Two Japanese Manufacturers

Who do you think would do this year? Honda or Toyota? I'm a big fan of Honda ever since the 80's but I must say that I was pretty disappointed with Honda's performance ever since they return to F1 few years back. I would expect Honda would do better than Toyota since Toyota never have an F1 development team before but it seems Toyota has been doing better than Honda.

What do you guys think? Do you think Honda could ever regain their reputation in F1 like they were in the 80's?

From what I understand Honda is seriously reconsidering their involvement into F1 racing with the BAR Team

Seing the shift of focus by Bernie cs. from Europe to Asia I wouldn't be surprised if Honda decides to take over the BAR F1 team altogether. Just like Ford/Jaguar took over the Stewart F1 team a few seasons back.

Do you guys think Honda would win the championship again anytime soon? For some reason I have doubt in that.

not soon, but when honda takes over the BAR team, changes are improving I think.
Honda is really a great manufacturer but we need to see some 80s like results again but the have to push more, more money and a lot more development.
After all I think they are better than Toyota, looking forward to next year, testing results seems to be good!

I'm definitely looking forward for Honda to regain their reputation in F1 just like in the 80's. For these past few years that Honda re-enter F1, it's nothing but disappointment.

i don't like the toyota because what they do as a development is to copy ferrari or to steal material from ferrari(in fact there will be a court for that reason...)that is why anche why the new toyota looks like the F2003GA
but a teams that copy will never reach the top...
as for the honda i don't think that they are doing pretty well.see how many times the engine has been broken and see the face of villneuve how dissappointed every time he drove that car...the whole package with the bar didn't work...hope that this year will do better

Toyota steal Ferrari idea? Really? Damn, I've been hearing all these bad stuff about Toyota lately huh? Have you guys heard that Toyota helped their engineering cheat in some kind of state exam?
