Looks stunning and very aggressive Seriously though, you should start using the Search option because there are already existing topics for most the posts you have started, including this one.

It seems you are unimpressed by any car which is not an Audi.
I like the look of this car and I agree that it is better than the Audi R8, which is in itself, not really that bad. It is just downright awesome to look at.

If that is how it i will look, then Mercedes has won me over on the looks department on their last few cars. That is awesome!!
But the news.
The SLC engine is well known and respected for its performance— the 6.2-liter AMG V-8. In the SLC, it will be modified to pump out 700 bhp. Even more punch will arrive when a twin-turbo version makes its debut later. HWA is aiming for a price of around $200,000, and only 500 cars will be produced in total.

6.2 L - 700 hp -----N/A!!!! ....with more to come...
That is kind of.....uhh....unbelievable, coming from a Mercedes....maybe Ferrari or Porsche but not Mercedes..
I highly doubt the that 6.2L engine can be N/A tunned to 200 more hp without having reliability issues. Also...I doubt the 700hp will be the lower end model.........I mean really....And a mercedes with 700hp for 200K....Yeah right...!
If this is the case, then AMG Mercs are beginning to seem like.......dare i say.....bargains- just look at the new C63 - bout the same price as M3, looks better and a good bit more powerful...

I'm not too sure MB or AMG is able to (or wanting to) push the 6.2 liter NA to 700hp... Brabus does offer up to 550hp from this engine, but another 150 on top without affecting emissions or doing some MAJOR reworkings, is not happening.
But who knows... many are already dismissing it tho'. But I'd expect 550-600 from a possible 6.2 liter V8, and maybe MB could pull their head out of their asses and start selling their 7.2 liter V12 in something else then a pseudo track-CLK (GTR and the like) or sold to companies like Pagani.
I do love the look of it, quite nice and mean. I think the new look of MB's is a nice change from all the oval lights and stuff. I think they've realised that Audi is able to sell vehicles with an agressive front simply because of the looks, and now they're trying to do the same.

I am not a Mercedes fan but goddamned this thing looks nice. We all know it will be heavy and understeery but if this goes production, it will be one of the prettiest things to see on the street.
