Of course it sounds good. Lexus took the game away from the Europeans and they'll do it again 
Still don't like those exhaust tips though.

They've yet to take the throne from AMG or M and won't be doing so for quite some time, if ever.

Well yeah, this is their first shot at it. So we'll see if history repeats it self 
In this day in age, if a car manufacture wants to compete with another they can just reverse engineer their competitor's work. And if they sell it for a cheaper price, which Lexus will, it will be successful.
