Ferrari F540?
|
A successor for the F430 it is expected to debut around 2010 that will be powered by a 5.4 liter V10 engine with an output around 550-600 hp. The new model will be called F540.

why are the 430 stradale drawings here, lol ... and that stuff about the successor is just speculation.... 
and I don't think ferrari will go as high as 600hp or even 550...if we're speculating...

well, from the same speculation , we filled 3-4 pages about the next Dino, and there isint anything conclusive there either....this is a project that will probably come out in the next 5 years, and I dont think its imposible for Ferrari, I more see them going for the 1000 HP engine in the near future,,,,,

When I was talking high HP, I was talking about the successor of the 430...
yes, ferrari might go for the 1000 hp mark, but I hope they will take a look at other options before going to the 1000 HP solution...
and I'm sure the succesor of the enzo still won't have that much HP... or even the next gen...

Well the pictures show a 430 successor, so I think that's the more likely thing. Besides, isn't the FXX some sort of ongoing developmental project?

They will almost certainly up power for the F430 replacement, don't think there's really any doubt about that, and since that is a few years off yet, theres no reason why it wouldn't be 550-600.
As for that story, cobbled together with images for the 430CS and a story we could have made ourselves from speculation. Boring! :roll:

Well, the article is about the Challenge Stradale, so are the pictures, only that line that I quoted says about the future F540, and this speculation could go a long way....

ok that looks almost identical to a 430 so its no F540 or whatever. 2nd noone has any ideas about what an F540 will look like, i mean the 430 has barely been out, It would of been like us knowing what the 430 was gonna look like back in 2001 and just for a time referance that was before the Enzo even came out. If official that is a 430 Challenge Stradale drawing im 99.9999999 percent sure, or just a red 430 Challenge. But i doubt there official pics.

Well the CS is rumoured to have over 520BHP so 550+ for the 430 successor is easily possible.
