Prince the Perfectionist
Prince steals the show. an amazing performance shows how good and under rated he is. (to bad he uses drum machines for his work)

How is he under-rated? He's super-famous. Lots of people know him worldwide and recognise his talent.

he isn't known for his amazing guitar skills, but rather his over-the-top character in pop music.
that said...
I'm sorry; but he ruined a good song there. sure, he is supposed to make the lead his own to some degree... but that seriously didn't fit wiht the song in soul at all.
there are faster, better, and more soulful guitarists out there.
Tom Petty +1, Prince -1

Prince is an exceptional musician (songwriter, producer and plays something like 30 odd instruments). Awesome.

On topic - I like Prince in the same way I like Michael Jackson. I love the music, but the man...eh, not so much (more so on the Jackson side). I enjoyed this performance though, I have always loved that song.
Kinda off topic - anyone seen the Ukulele version of this song? If not, check this out http://www.metacafe.com/watch/41072/...guitar_player/
