Thats a scary video. On the outside I would have never of guess the kitchen would have been in such a appauling state. I do like indian food, and thankfully I know my local indian resturants kitchen is in tip top shape. If I did'nt know first hand I would have been alittle woried now.
Also its not just indian resturants, any resturant can have these problems. All should be closed down immediately imo.

let's not narrow this down to indian food, that could happen anywhere. Behind locked doors anything can happen.
Somebody from health and safety should make his way there right away. Bon apetite everyone

^^
There are many restaurants of different cuisines with lousy kitchens - 5 star hotels are no better either. A shiny, posh ambience where you eat doesn't really mean that there is a great kitchen behind the swing doors.
Bmuller - As far as trying out Indian food, I haven't been to any restaurant worth recommending in Houston. Most of the Indian food here is Americanized crap and virtually all the food looks and tastes the same (at least to me). I think you need to go to DC and NYC to get really good Indian food.

The cleanness of the kitchen in restaurants is mostly dependent on the owner, and this type of dirty state in kitchen happens everywhere. But I'm glad I didn't like Indian food before I saw this.
