Skys now on the road.
The saturn sky seems to be popping up at dealers. Saw the first one on the street today.. Thought it was a prototype till I did some research a moment ago.. Interesting to see how it sells.

^^^ Same here, I've seen one more then a month ago. I like the fact that it looks a bit more edgy and aggressive then the solstice, but I feel like the proportion on the car seems a bit to compact do to those huge wheels.

personally, i think the sky looks better today, but the Solstice will keep looking great for decades.... the Sky being aimed more at the younger guys.

There's a Solctice running around town and i think it's the 2nd ugliest thing GM has ever made. 1st ugliest being the Aztek

Indeed... The VX220/Opel Speedster is a far better car than this thing, IMHO.
Does anyone know why GM don't sell this in the US?
For those that aren't sure what a Saturn Sky looks like:

The VX looks more like a Lotus and in the Sky, i see alot of 350Z Roadster and a bit of Z3 as well

The Sky looks quite sharp imo, good design. Better then the Solstice, which I have mixed feeling for.
Whilst fit and finish is most likely higher then in the Vauxhall VX220 (Opel Speedster), I doubt it's anyway near the car performance and handling wise (knowing that the VX200 was based off the Elise).
I had a go in an Opel Speedster and found it a nice car. I think the new Sky (also sold as an Opel Roadster in europe) looks cool and follows a similar design style. Although bigger, I really would like to try it out

You have to remember Ive been living under a rock.. I barely ever even see daylight anymore. (Im not kidding.. Im working 50-60 hr weeks and going to school 2 nights a week).
Still glad to see the car made it to production, guess its time for a test drive. They do make it at the plant down the street with the solstice, so I guess I can give it some consideration.

GM should just put the VX Lightning into production and silence the critics
