Default 308km/h in a SUV ! SPORTEC Cayenne spotted

Haven't been around for a while (busy at work, long WE), but now back to posting some sightings
few days ago, I saw the fastest roadlegal SUV in the World : 308,45 km/h done in 2005

700hp, 850Mn, 4.2sec 0-100km/h, 14.6sec 0-200km/h
among other modifications, the added a "Electroninc Suspension Control" for variable speedrelated lowering of the car up to 40mm 8)

well, it's a very rare sight (unique since it''s the only one), but parked outside the Sportec-factory, it' doesn't count that much
Hope you liked the pics

Nice. I saw it last year at the porsche meet in interlaken, but there were to many people around to take some good shots.
damn fast vecile, and it has space for the whole family including the dog! but i guess you will not drive that fast with the family in the back...

What's that hood over the back window, is that some kind of streamlining...? Cool truck hahaha, I wonder if it spins all 4 tires on launch.

Just brillant! Who cares if it was in front of Sportec at least it's in an open parking lot, still almost on the road
308 is just wicked speed for a SUV

^yes, a cool sight
I went there the other day ( a asphalte guy was getting his upgrade 996TT back ) and infront of this small tuner-garage in the backyard of the house, I saw a Gemballa GTR, the SPR1  (without the engine atm), a 993CarrerRS,.. pretty cool
I'll visit this garage more often, because they did the fastest Cabrio (345km/h) aswell as an amazing CaymanS recently ... pics are in the queue :bah:

Here's the report to my PicOfTheMonth contribution

back in March, Hamlet and I met the guys from Gumpert at the Geneva carshow, where we had an interesting chat about this awesome car. The shape of the car may not be the nicest, but the performance figures was impressive. Check gumpert.de for more details.
Talking about supercars on display, we came to the conclusion that these car have to be driven!!

ready to hit the racetrack :fuck:

Here's a short video compilation I made during 3 or 4 laps, as mentioned before they didn't push that hard :bah:, but some blocking tyres, passing by and engine sound is on tape
GUMPERt APOLLO on TRACK

I'm not going to tease you again, but this great day wasn't over with Gumpert only - some privat cars were driving around the track when the Apollo was in the garage .... and not to forget the Ferrari/Maserati/ModenaCar dealership with large storage room
