Default Problem with Video Playback - Video Freezes

Hi,

I just joined Jabbas World because I found a video and at the start it had this URL.

I seem to have a problem with video playback where the video will freeze after a few seconds. The sound continues playing but the video is totally frozen.

Does anybody know how to fix this? Is there an easy fix to the situation or am I just doomed to listen to sound and no video. It's not all videos but some only.

(Is there a special codec that Jabba uses? It's weird because I can get the first few seconds before the video freezes up.)

Thanks in advance.

I have a problem with these two files I just downloaded from this site.

5th Gear Mazda RX8 (Unzipped from zip file)
5th Gear Radical SR3 vs Aerial Atom (Also unzipped)

And the file I downloaded from some other place was Top Gear Mazda RX8 and Nissan 350Z (i think kazaa)

All the same problem, it plays for a very short time then the video freezes but the sound continues playing.

I'm not sure if it's a problem only on my machine (i've tried it on both of my computers), or wondering if others have encountered this and how they solved it.

Thanks for the quick response

You're the first reporting this sadly for you... as I said in the previous post, do you have the last DiVX 5.11?

I had the same problem. I fixed it by just reinstalling the Xvid codec. How stupid does that sound ??
