So it looks like the M Roadster and Coupe will only have the S54 3.2L 333hp engines.

ae86, you can take that to kellener´s and get 405bhp, so not so bad engine for a small-ish roadster.
I know a few M3 owners that hoped for a new engine, it is a bit boring to buy car with the same engine. Luckily the new M3 and 400hp is just around the corner and E90 335ti.

^ Yeah exactly. But the thing is the S54 was in the last Roadster too. So no improvement at all.
By the way, the Inifiniti coupe looks like an updated/facelifted version of a G35.
