Default Adrian Newey to Red Bull?!

Rumours have begun to emerge that Adrian Newey the once successfull designer for Williams in the early 90's and now a crucial piece in Mclaren's puzzle may be looking for new challenges by swicthing to Red Bull Racing.

I appologize for this not being placed in the F1 forum.

I don't think the effects are going to be very noticable right away, especially if his arrival at Red Bull is going to be as late as they say (February). The upcoming Mclaren has already been 80-90% designed, which also holds true for the RB2 chassis. We will probably see some interesting updates to the RB2 earlymiddle to the late part of the 06' season. I think Newey's full benifit will come during the design of the RB3, also keep in mind that having a guy like Newey on board could be huge if the CDG wing does come into effect for the 07' season.

I think it's fantastic Adrian Newey is going to Red Bull. He was looking for a different challenge for some time but McLaren always managed to keep him. Until now.

At Red Bull he has the option of making two cars for two teams....It'll be good.
