This is a guy who's a victim of Hurricane Katrina. He has a SERVICE dog - meaning the dog helps with his day-to-day activities.

When he was displaced, he couldn't take his dog with him. He couldn't
find an apartment so he signed his dog over to the animal shelter, figuring
it would temporary until he found a place. He's now found a place but
the woman at the shelter took the dog home herself and said her
kids are "too attached" to the dog to give it back.

I just want to reach out and beat the spit out of that bitch...
