Default Trip to USA

well, i cam back a few weeks ago now, but i have been waiting for some pics from a friends camera, as i broke mine half way through the trip!

Anyway, i cant be arsed waiting longer, so here is what i caught with mine, and another friends camera. I will add the other other friends pics when he gets me them.

In total i saw 3 maybachs, only managed to get pics of 2 but this is my prize spot (very sorry for quality - it was dark, and our group was rushing to get to the subway station!)

yes, its a maybach 62! Rather amusingly, the guy actually scrapped half of the front spoiler off when he pulled onto the road and down the kerb! I imageing it was the chauffers first day on the job

Here is maybach 52 number 1 i saw(taken with friends cam, which has the wrong date on):

and one with little old me, just as proof.

the other maybach i saw was another 57, but it flew through central park before i could even get my camera out. Although i can tell you it had a woman in the back wearing a very very large red mink coat, for what thats worth!

This one i was especially pleased with, my first one:

beats the hell out of a maybach on looks dont you think!

Like i say, i am still waiting for some other pics from another friends cam, and although im not exactly sure what it has on it, i do know it had pics of the gorgeous Pinin Farina (they deleted the space in the name later on ) Cisitalia "202" GT. Here is a taster pic from the museam itself

Here are some other pics of not quite so amazing cars i saw.
A childs size ferrari testarossa with 15mph top speed and 2 gears! a sinch at only $20,000

This was at Heathrow airport - my first one in the flesh - luckily i had a bib with my so i didnt drool all over it!

again, i rear my ugly head

And finally, a proper American car - the first one i have seen as well.

Nice pictures - I take it the DB9 was one of the raffle competition prizes that they always have in Heathrow?!

yeah, there are one or two companies that run these things now, you can pay £20 for a ticket for the chance to win a mini cooper S, or £70 for a Gallardo ticket. It's that sort of thing

Yeah they seem to have filled every UK airport with these competitions now. Then again it is always a nice surprise to see a DB9 before departing the UK!

I am both appreciative of your comments, and downright scared at the same time.

nice catches tom. dang man, you catch more sweet cars on film in a short visit to the US than I do in years... and I live here.
On the other hand, I do live in Ohio...

It was just a school trip, its one of the main ones they do each year though for the 6th formers (yr12's), oddly enough though, it seems to have no educational value whaqtsoever. Granted we go to the holocaust meuseam and the like, but the vast majority of the time is spent shopping!
