hyrbird cars, do u like them?

do you like the perfomance aspect of a car or the looks? which would determine whether you would buy a hybrid car or not?

i would never buy one although i'll save a lot of money on gas specially here in california $2 a gallon for 87.

I don't like them for their looks or performance, but I suppose the concept of a hybrid is a good idea because of polution and everything.

A breakdown of reasons why I don't like hybrid cars:
Look = ugly
Performance = slow
Engine = tiny (and shuts down at every stop)
Wheels = too small to be visible

As for fuel economy, you may as well drive a diesel. It costs less to maintain and is about as good. I suppose people forgot about all the poisonous chemicals used in the battery. It's almost like saying nuclear power is kind to the environment.

The only positive thing about hybrid cars, there's not enough power to handle extra body kits and spoilers.... so you'll probably never see a riced version on the road. Never know, the riceboys will probably find a way around it (ex. using foam instead of plastic or wood)

i must admit that they are pretty ugly, very slow, and are very expensive for what you get. but i would not disagree with anyone if they wanted to buy one. some people just car alot about emissions and polluting and all that stuff. but all i can say is that i will never buy one, never.
