Maybach accessories
Begin this week Maybach revealed some of the accessories their costumers choose. Since the launch of the Maybach 57 and 62, in total of 2 million accessories were built into the cars. If you have enough money, everything is possible. Some examples:
One costumer, a hotel, bought a 57 for transporting their guests. It has a special cover in the trunk to protect the luggage. Inside the car is equipped with towel heaters. And the TV-screens were replaced with fold up tables.
Another customer didn’t like the chrome line touches in the interior. So they were all replaced with 24 karate gold. Also all Maybach emblems were replaced with his family’s escutcheon.
A compass as accessory is quite popular in the Middle-East. And if it’s allowed, Maybach also delivers glass that can be darkened with a single touch of a button, so people outside can't absolutely see anything what happens inside the car.
The Maybach is also available with a 3 seat couch in the back. In this case the operation of the functions normally controlled with buttons on the middle console are replaced with a palmtop with a bleutooth connection.

I would never buy a Maybach on the basis that it looks exactly like a Mercedes. I like the look of the Mercedes, but if i spend that much i want something that doesn't look like any other Merc.

Its pretty cool in the back seat. TVs, but it still feels like a S600. Also there is a speedometer, and compass in the back.

just go to a Mercedes Dealer with a Maybach Studio. They even opened up their SLR for me and my dad to look into. No sitting down though.

I agree with this. I sat in a Maybach 62 once on a motorshow. It's really luxurious, sits well and is quite cool. But it doesn't feel special, it hasn't the panache of a Rolls interior.

it just feels like you in an S-Class. The phantom how ever, and the bentley. its hard to describe in words what the phantom feels like. Even on the outside just being near it makes you feel special.

a cop pulls you over for you're tint, you flick a switch and it becomes legal tint again!
