no one said we hated them they're just not exciting enough to go to a car convetion of them. If I wanted to do that I would go to my driveway and look at a pos tercel. Ford is half the sales in the U.S..

toyota's own!
they are quality cars, and the engines are still some of the best made in history
2JGZE and the 4AGZE.

you are right stanAE86
all the toyota use the same format for engine codes and the G desinates performance head, the T desinates turbo, and the E is Electronic fuel injection =)
toyota is the worlds largest Twincam motor manufacturer, and its also the first japanese company to post over 10Billion profit in one financial year
they have made may awesome cars , to name a few:
the Supra Turbos
the Celica Alltracs
MR2 Supercharged/Turbo
1976 2000GT (Carol Shelby was even involved with racing these....)
Corolla Twincam GTS
and all the older 1st gen corollas and celicas were pretty cool for their time
toyota makes good cars, and some are pretty good performance cars =)

Where did you get that stat that Ford has half the sales in the US? I seriously doubt that on the basis that Ford's market share is significantly less than 1/3 in the US and even less in Europe...as for Mazda...Ford owns it outright at this point. A controlling stake is 31% under Japanese law and Ford had that for quite a long time...I believe that the full buyout happened a couple of years ago though.
