Where the same mate will be racing the Morgan Aero 8 entry in the LEMANS 24 HOUR!!!!!!!! Fucking awsome!
Anyways, wondering if anyone else is making the trip to lemans, its gunna be my first time and im looking forward to it. Gettin there at the beginning of the week to grab a good camping pitch and testing etc.

I think TVR should use the new TVR Typhoon, in the 2004 Le Mans 24 Hours what do you think.

I know you like TVR and all but don't make this into a TVR topic

I have seen the qualif freely. I've parked in the woods and manage to avoid policemen by sympathetizing with commissaires. I was near the Merc lands a few years ago. Audis were very impressive. The race between Corvettes and Ferrari could be very great and I still have shivers of their incredible sounds. A few Porsches were flat out, and I don't know why.

Right, i got back a couple days ago, and after my incredible week i thought i'd share a few photos:

Morgan motto for lemans:

Hawian tropics girls on the grid (spot the twins at the front of the car, OH MAMMA)

The start, pulling away from the assembly grid:

The 'U-Buty' lads, always cheering the morgan on, and looked to be having a laugh!

Robby Coltrane popped into the garage in the last hour to give his congratulations:

The finish!! Total euphoria and madness on the pit wall!

We were on the screen at the end, but unfortunately didnt classify due to a big delay in ht enight with fuel pump problems

One thing is for sure, next year is gunna be interesting!

I was lucky to get so close, your right, it was amazing!!

EDIT: A view from the grandstand in question:

Oh, and not forgetting our next door neighbours, the veloqx audi team:

The audi's were pretty quite cus they r only turbo'd 4 pots, but the ferrari 575 and 360's and Lola Judd's were fuckin noisy! And the pit lane speed limiters get friggin annoying!
When i was out in the middle of the circuit towards the end of the race i can remember the sound of the Judd powered lola screaming down the mulsanne straight, sounded like a fuckin fighter jet! Flat out for soooo long.
Cant wait till next year!
