Default May 29 - Ferrari and Aston Martin distributor Kroymans

After visiting the NAMAC Car model fair we (me and my parents) stopped by Kroymans in Hilversum.

Parked out in fron were these two brand new 360 Spiders. Probably rolled off the truck just before, because there were still pieces of plastic for protection everywhere.

Inside was the new 612 Scaglietti, which I hadn't seen before in real life. I always had my doubts about the styling judging by the pictures in magazines or on the internet, but they vanished in an instant. It's simply a beauty, and I really mean a truly gorgeous car. It doesn't look as big in the metal and the rear is not dull at all. Overall, its shape is very well proportioned, powerful as well as chique. Oh, and it sounds great as well... It was driven out of the showroom after we had come in because someone was there to test drive the 360 Spider behind it.

The 612 leaving the showroom. Mmmmm, what a sound...

The 360 Spider that was taken for a spin. Needless to say that one sounded great as well.

Random pics of the beauties present.

Two shots through the window into the workshop. There were more 360s, two (!) F40s and a 550.

In the basement there was now room for more used Ferraris. During previous visits we weren't allowed there, because a lot of Kroymans' own cars were parked there.

Behind glass doors, which were shut was this astonishing collection of mostly classic Ferraris. The pictures are not very good because I had to shoot them through glass or small openings. They're just to give you guys an idea of the fantastic stuff that stood there.

As if that wasn't enough, next door was the Aston Martin and Jaguar department. I skipped the Jags though...

A bit off topic, but later we visited the town of Naarden where I spotted an SL55 AMG. I took a picture just for the fans, I know they're out here on JW.

I'll answer in English then. No, I'm not from around there. My parents live in Franeker (Friesland) and I live in Groningen. We visited the NAMAC car model fair in Houten that day and drove by Hilversum, so we decided to take a look. It was cerrtainly worthwhile. Then, just to make most of the day, we went to see Naarden-Vesting. We had never been there before. It's absolutely beautiful.

Like I said, it's the distributor. But the showroom and workshop in Hilversum also have the function of a normal dealer.
