No online for GT4 this winter??
I can't confirm this since all the game sites are blocked at work, but in various forums, they report that GT4 will not have online racing. Apparently the online component will be on a separate disc for next winter?!? They better have Ferrari and Porsche to wipe my dreams of online racing away.

i wouldnt really care about the online stuff if they had ferrari and lambo, porsche is ok cos they've already got RUF. Although a CGT would be nice
Pity other companies have already got rights for ferrari n lambo (i think)

It's confirmed that GT4 will not have online play capability. Good news though is they are trying to have it ready for the N. America and Europe release date of December 14.

Anyone know if the Logitech USB steering wheel will work on a PS2?

The latest rumors around here are that the game was delayed a bit to include the online mode.. but with PD, as always, we need to wait for the game to hit the stores (god knows when), to know...

lol by the time I actually finish the game it'll probably be online and ps3 would've come out. I'm just judging it from how long it took me to finish GT3.

I could care less about the online part.. thats what PGR2 is for.. social chatting and arcade racing..
GT is for serious, intense racing..
In fact, I would rather they sacrifice the online part, instead of compromising anything else to allow for the required netcode to function.

Yes - I use 2 Logitech Momo Wheels on the PS2 - as well as the blue Logitech PS2 version and the 900 degree GT4 version.

And no Force Feedback steering wqheel support... -- so it is just a glorified arcade game - and will remain as such until XBox gets serious about wheel support.
