This is for everyone who live outside Oz and doesn't know what a XR8 is.




Engine - 5.4 litre, 32 valve DOHC V8
Power - 260kw @ 5250rpm
Torque - 500Nm @ 4250rpm
Weight - 1795kg

yeah great, car until you come to aus and you discover that every second car is a holden and every third is a ford. but still nice

not a bad car considering its, well.. australian.. but certainly not unique on our roads. a good thing and a bad thing i guess..

I like it. It's a good answer to the GTO. The only thing I don’t like about it is the weight .... 1795 kgs / 3957 lbs :crazyeyes:

Damn the thing is a freakin tank!! It is even heavier than the GTO which was already too heavy!

$50,130(manual) or $51,050(auto) australian, in that blue print colour, you add $315 to that price. Plus options, that includes the option colours, DVD Satellite Navigation System ($3,600), Leather ($1,980), Power Adjustable Pedals ($350), Premium Audio System with colour display screen and 6 disc in-dash CD, Audio pep-pack - 150 watt amplifier and 150 watt sub-woofer ($900), Prestige Audio System with LCD display screen and 6 disc in-dash CD ($600), Sports Steering Wheel ($695). there are also a whole list of dealer fit accessories

Looks sexy, i think Ford should bring it over as a Answer to the upcoming SRT-6 from dodge. I see it uses the Triton V-8 thats fucking crazy.
