Whats the opinion on road police in your country?

Are they respected? Are they respected cause they have right to do what they want and taken as dumbf@cks anyway? Or they are good guys and are using theyr authority in a proper way?


In Czech they are more-less respected mostly cause they can give you expensive fine so they are generally taken by drivers with disrespect(50/50%). I respect them myself ofcourse I met total di*kheads few times but I respect theyr work, it would not be something I will want to do myself.

My relatives from Ukrain said that there is almost 0 respect to cops by drivers in Ukrain, people dont even stop when they have a faster car if they see a cop trying to pull them over, if they stop the only thing what cops want is to get some money from them sometimes they say it directly
