The Corvette was all over the place compared to the Clio, driver was pushing that car hard.

That was sweet, I'd love to drive a Vette like that!

I'm surprised someone isn't complaining about the outcome...

Exactly - poor driving can make any car seem slow. And the Clio may have seemed quicker around the kiddy play park - but on the way to the parking lot and on the way home, the big boys lead the whole way.

If the legendary J. Ragnotti was piloting the Clio - who was in the Z06? The bus boy?

It was a professional driver but he admitted after that he made the show (as well as Jean) and it wasn't the most effective way to win but driving a car like that is even more difficult than not drifting it IMO.

IMO it (the fact the clio won) also has to do with the fact that the steering circle of the Clio is much smaller then the Vette's.
That's probably also why the Vette driver was sliding so much.
He needed to in order to get the car to turn on a short strip of asfalt.

man that vette driver was just flooring it the whole way through...if he was more smooth with the throttle the result would've been much better for the vette....but i like both cars anyway...thanks for the vid

No.. the car was sliding because he had the gas pedal burried to the floor
