Default Camera Settings

Hi. I am planning on going to the British Motorshow in two weeks time, and i am taking my camera with me.

I am still relatively new to digital photography, and the environment inside the show is different to anywhere i have taken photos before. I want to get the best pictures possible, and so need to know which settings to use on my camera to ensure the pics turn out at their best.

My camera is a Canon Ixus 400 - 4.0m/pixel

Settings include..
ISO Auto/50/100/200/100 (at higher speeds, you don't need to be as steady to get a crisp picture, but when i get home, the picture appears grainy )

White balance .. i figured Auto WB
Exposure .. goes from -2..0...+2
Focus... Close Up/Normal/Infinity
Flash ... should i use it near the cars?
Focus On a spot/spot in centre of a rectangle/anywhere in the frame

Thans in advance..any advice is welcome
