Seemed pretty ok. Obviously being a convertible, the SLK lost points due to sound insulation (still, according to tests, the driver experiences the least decibels of any convertible with the top up, which they did not take into account) and interior space is limited as well (even though there's also 3 large compartments in the cabin for storing stuff, not to mention the 3 smaller compartments and the ample door pockets).

What I didn't quite understand what the low numbers they gave to highway driving, as I have no problems outrunning, say a Porsche Cayenne Turbo on the highway... But the biggest problem, as with always, is the automatic gearbox. Would be nice if MB provided a manual, as it would definitely be taken a bit more seriously in tests like these. But considering this, it didn't do all to bad.
