The thing here is that a mustang dyno reads really really low. I know this, they call them heartbrakers. My old car made around 390whp on a mustang and like 450whp on a dynapack (which read a lot higher) Also when you do a dyno test, you get HP to the wheels, not the crank. The advertised hp is always crank hp, not wheel hp after tranny loss. For an awd car to get 400whp on a mustang, it has to be making upwards of 500 crank hp.
Stock STI is rated at 300hp from Subaru, on a Mustang dyno it makes around 215whp. Now I dont know just how much power is lost through the GT-R's transmission, but I'm guessing its probably more than the STI because of all the gadgetry in the GT-R...
