Mallet, LPE, MTI, RSI, Katech, LG and few others all do relly good work.

And they are involved for the entire life cycle of the engines, and many of them have race cars they R&D on.

As an example, when the LS1 engine came out in 1997,it was 340 or 350 bhp, about 300rwhp - and in order to get 400rwhp you had to have a very radical cam, ported heads, headers, tuning and really good luck - and about $20,000 to spend.

ere we are 9 years later and the LS1 with LS6 heads (or the LS6) for about $3000, a cam, headers and a tune will produce 420rwhp easily. Even more for the bigger LS2.

Heads, cam, headers, radical cam and tune cars are putting about 460 to 480rwhp down (granted, those are not suitable for granma or grandpa to drive ) but yo uget the point.

Stock compression S/C cars would make about 450rwhp (or 510bhp - sorta like this kit) - but do not cost $20,000 - not even close - now a stock compression car can deliver 550rwhp or so.

Lower the compression and you can go as far as you pocket is deep

The Geiger car looks cool though -- and I am guessing if you were about to drop 90 large on a Vette in Germany, you already have a couple other cars and it's only money..
