I dont think it IS slower than a Ford GT......at least around a twistie track.
In any case the Ford GT and C6 Z06 should post similar numbers. I've seen the Gt come out on top at some tracks and the Z06 at others but the one thing each race had in common: Very little seperated the two cars.
Put that into perspective and the Z06 is just that much more amazing.
Then again, I saw a Ford Gt at VIR the other weekend.......parked near it was a C6 Z06..........and the Ford GT completely stole all the thunder. That thing is just beautiful in the metal. Its SOOOOO low to the ground, the wheels fill the arches perfectly and the curves are simply stunning. The z06 is nice too....but rather plain in the company of a GT.
