Well, I am sure Turn 10 are modelling a NEW 1979 suspension, not an old wore out one - there is a fair amount of body roll, but I also believe it is being offset by the sever lack of grip. The more grip, the more body roll. Perhaps the lack of body roll is more of a damning of their tyre model than the anything else...

...or perhaps you are expecting a 1979 Camaro to suck a lot more thna it does LOL.

I might redo the car with a full upgraded suspension set to full soft to mirror a wore out 30 year old suspension.
