I found it interesting that the prototype jet that Bond saves in the first 1/3 or so of the film resembled the "747" that 5th Gear pulled with the Volkswagen Touareg. It seemed to be a computer modified 747 with that strange 2x2 jet engine pattern + auxiliary fuel tanks..
dunno if that's important or not, but perhaps the jet from 5th gear was a model for the jet in the film. |
Yeah, I posted about that back in the 5th Gear thread about the 747 in that configuration, I have never seen it before.
Maybe it is just a mock-up and not a real flyer? |
I think its a new engine type for the 747 I guess
