R&T have done a new shootout from 0-200 mph, here's the impressive result:
Hennessey Venom 1000: 20.3 sec
Bugatti Veyron: 24.2 sec
Lingenfelter Corvette C6 TT: 26.5 sec

Wait til you see what the new king is... being tested in a 200 mph shootout for Car and Driver... expect to see severely sub-20 second's to 200 mph... thats all I can say
And... the car in question has working A/C, and is running on 93 octane (mon+ ron)/2
That said, this car can also handle 1+ g left and right.
Also, everso.... from my experience with 200 mph shootout characteristics, the times will only vary about 1-1.5 seconds through 200 mph... and most of that is from poor shifting... the Veyron is very clinical at that.
the Bugatti also saves A LOT of time because of its stupid fast 0-60 time.... similar, and higher powered cars would barely be able to muster up a sub 4 seconds launch
