I guess Chevy just takes a C6R and sticks some slicks on it to eh Last time I checked they have a major program for the racing team.
And should I even mention Porsche? The whole GT3 program is one of the biggest in the world......or maybe its the Chevy race program...
So actually, Ferrari of all brands does the least and spends the least on preping their cars for race duty.
Meaning the stock cars are much closer to race trim then any Vette or Porsche

Considering the F430NGT uses an engine which meets race regulations and is hardly the road engine (4.0 vs 4.3) while the GT3 still uses the base 3.6 from the road car, albeit modified. I'd say the Porsche is closer to home than the Ferrari.
