Stuff that costs less to make, costs less. This is why the 968CS was cheaper.

The only case when Porsche has it's ideas upside down is with the cheaper to build Cayman costing more than the Boxster.

But stiffening up a boxster (to great effect) buy adding a roof, retuning the chassis and pretending you have another model in your line up takes balls.

However a I agree, I'll take a Cayman CS with PCCB and a locing diff.
